Founder

The Founder of ABLE-i is an experienced teacher with a master’s degree in special education, Early Intervention, and Inclusion from the University of Melbourne.

She has worked in special education for over 20 years, where she gained a wealth of knowledge in teaching children with Autism and developmental disabilities and challenging behaviours.

She also has extensive knowledge of the NDIS and lived experience raising her own children with autism and additional learning needs. Her personal experience has given her strong insights into what families go through, which has made her patient in the area of her expertise, helping children and families.

She founded ABLE-i many years ago after leaving teaching when the NDIS was a pilot program in Geelong. One of the first organizations to offer Early Childhood intervention using the Key Worker model. ABLE-i has steadily grown and worked with families to deliver support that made a difference and helped them to better understand the NDIS. She has worked towards making ABLE-i a service that families can trust and rely on, making finding the right support for children and their families a more positive experience.
